Q. A. Fellows. He served the fraternity as Grand Master of Louisiana for the entire period of the Civil War from 7860 - 7866.

Most Worshipful Brother Fellows would also serve as Grand Master of the Grand Encampment of the Knights Templar of the United States.

The author uses sentiments from Most Worshipful Brother Fellows recorded in the proceedings of the Grand Lodge of Louisiana to weave together sentiments from 2020 to tell a tale of hope and encouragement even in times of great distress.
