Sleepless Maple is a story about Maple who couldn't sleep because of her fear. Her friends Mr. Earthworm, Lady Butterfly, and Sparrow worked together to provide a comforting and loving environment that Maple needs to make her feel safe to sleep.

This book is a bedtime story for children of any age, especially for the ones who experienced or witnessed a traumatic event.
Young children respond to situations differently from adults. A life-changing event can cause a lot of emotional and physical distress to the child which can prevent them from having a good night's sleep. Parents and caregivers play an important role in providing that emotional and mental support that can help their child's well-being and that includes extra support at bedtime.

"Maple has her own share of fears and sorrows that we can relate to. Luckily, she has friends like Mr. Earthworm, Lady Butterfly, and Sparrow who are kind and supportive. Every story ends and this one ends with sleepy eyes. Written in beautiful rhymes, I fell in love with its simplicity, the heart and emotion that it evokes. The author has successfully conveyed a beautiful story that will leave a spot in every reader' heart. It will surely help children fall asleep. Well done Roselle and Congratulations!"

-Alicia Minor, a retired pre-school teacher for eight years and a children's book writer.
