Tortured Soul Part 1: A Female Aspies Story Tortured Soul has been written by Emma Thomson.

She is 23 years old. She was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome aged 16. She comes from Burbage in Leicestershire. She currently lives in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. In the book she talks about her childhood. She tells readers what it felt like to be bullied. She also explains how she always thought she was different.

Then goes on to say how she felt singled out at secondary school and explains the reason why she was excluded.

There also is a chapter on her upper school where it was like living in hell.

The last part of the book touches some sensitive issues.

It tells of the times when she got arrested because of the ways she communicated.

It talks about her experiences of being sectioned. She also explains how she managed to get off of section and get out of the hospital.
