Media & Culture : Beginner Level Listening and Speaking for English Language Learners

Media & Culture is a listening and speaking curriculum designed for English Language Learners who wish to expand their speaking and listening skills by gaining a deep understanding of the English-speaking world through both language and culture. Each book has 30 lessons focused on a variety of topics and audio/video media, including TED talks, movie clips, TV series and news media.

Teachers can use this curriculum to help students build vocabulary and colloquialisms by listening to spoken language in use and then expressing their own ideas through discussion, games and speaking activities included in each lesson.
