Delusion : The BlackLight Chronicles: Book Two

After the chaos and destruction that ended the player faction war in Illusion, Kitty has to deal with the ramifications of her actions in the real world when the US Senate Security council subpoenas her for the destruction of her lab at MiT. Simultaneously, BlackLight arrives to offer her a beta pass to their new game, a super-natural western with extreme immersion that isn't what it seems.
When the hearing goes bad, and Kitty is forced to flee, BlackLight coerces her into playing what is rapidly devolving into a brutal, bizarre game. Facing outlaws, wild animals, stubborn tow-folk, cannibals, and supernatural creatures, Kitty has to lead a town of innocent civilians through the end of their world, with only her wits and friends to help her survive.
As dangerous enemies grow more powerful both in the game and in real life, Kitty must evade the US navy on her way to independent city state of Hong Kong and figure out how to deal with BlackLight breathing down her neck.
