Set in the village of Pinvin in Worcestershire, the drama follows pastor's son Stephen Franklin (Spencer Banks) as he has a series of surreal encounters with angels, demons and pagans.

The journey he embarks upon forces Stephen to evaluate his place in the world and confront his home country's ancient pagan history.
