WJEC (CBAC) & EDUQAS A Level Subjects

WJEC, formally the Welsh Joint Education Committee, (known as CBAC (Cyd-Bwyllgor Addysg Cymru) in Welsh) is an examination board providing examinations, professional development and educational resources to schools and colleges in Wales, England and Northern Ireland under its own name and the Eduqas brand.

As Wales’ largest awarding body, WJEC offers over 400 GCSE, AS, A level and vocational qualifications, which are all internationally recognised.

WJEC (a registered charity) offers qualifications regulated by Ofqual through the brand Eduqas. All reformed qualifications designed specifically for secondary schools, academies and colleges in England formerly offered by WJEC in England are now branded as Eduqas, whilst those in Wales continued to be branded as WJEC.
