Brenda Bones

Brenda is a young girl, but she looks a bit different than other kids-she's a real skeleton, both on Halloween and for the rest of the year.

She wants to go out and play with other children, but her mom tells her that skeletons are scary, not silly or funny.

But on Halloween, things will be different; Brenda will be able to go out trick-or-treating. When she goes out and meets all the other children in costume, Brenda is thrilled.

She makes friends with a group of kids, and they all walk around together.

But soon Brenda must tell her new friends the truth: she isn't just wearing a costume.

How will the other kids react? Maybe they'll discover that being different can be really cool. Brenda Bones is the journey of one skeleton girl from isolation to acceptance all on one fun-filled Halloween night.
