Report of the Animal Procedures Committee for 2008

The report covers the work in 2008 of the Animal Procedures Committee and its various sub-committees - Applications, Primates, Education and Training, Housing and Husbandry - and the Suffering and Severity Working Group and Revision of Directive 86/609 Working Group.

A large proportion of the Committee's time has been devoted to work on the revision of Directive 86/609, the legislative act of the EU that regulates the care and use of laboratory animals in the member states of the EU.
