This yearbook consists of a number of essays written by students in universities in the Irish Republic and Northern Ireland and is in many ways a continuation of Retrospect, the journal of the Irish History Students' Association (IHSA).

Its aim is to attract and publish the best research completed each year in the universities of the Republic and of Northern Ireland.

By providing an outlet for all active history students it hopes to ensure that at an early stage in their careers, their valuable work is presented to a wider audience.
