William Wortley Baggally (? -1928) was an investigator and amateur conjurer of much experience.

He was a member of the Council of the British Society for Psychical Research.

He joined the Society for Psychical Research in 1896 because he was interested in establishing experimental proof of survival after death, and he was not satisfied with the standard of evidence among most Spiritualists.

He cooperated with Hereward Carrington and Everard Feilding on investigation of the phenomena of the famous medium Eusapio Palladino in Naples during 1908.

His knowledge and proficiency in conjuring magic made him a shrewd and intelligent investigator of psychic phenomena.

He published Telepathy: Genuine and Fraudulent in 1917.

In this book he set down some of his experiences in connection with the subject of telepathy.
