Part 2 of the report gives full details of the team's methodology and findings, summarized in Part 1.

Given that a major thrust of the study is a comparison between contrasting forms of special education in their efficacy, the report presents extensive tables and figures comparing the performance and experiences of the group of children at the Birmingham Institute with those of a comparison group of children enrolled in traditional programmes in three schools in Greater Manchester.

The report concludes that the data from the assessments must be regarded as disappointing in the light of some of the claims made on behalf of conductive education by its proponents.
