The Battle of Britain - A Timeline of Events

From the evacuation of the British forces from Dunkirk in late May 1940 until early July, there was a relative period of quiet in which Britain was able to prepare for the coming onslaught.

However, from July 10th until October, the Battle of Britain unfolded at an alarming rate - a concentrated and intense period of air warfare which had not been seen before and has not been seen since.
