Every day, dogs are betrayed by the humans that they put their trust in, and given up for a variety of reasons.

Some of these dogs were impulse buys. Others are senior dogs given up in favour of younger models; dog with health issues that are abandoned. And the unfortunate few whose owners took the cowardly way out and euthanised perfectly healthy dogs.

All because they didn’t bother to put in the work. This sequel to the best-selling book We Adopted continues to document some of these rescues and their journeys towards doggie salvation.
