This book, the fifth in the series of reports from the Upper Tisza Project, focuses on excavations undertaken in 1995 at a single upland site in the south Zemplen Mountains.

Excavations revealed four phases of dwelling at the site relating to the Neolithic, after a 3000 year gap two Late Bronze Age phases of occupation, and again after a 1500-2000 year gap, early medieval occupation, and the medieval foundation of Regec castle.

Conclusions examine the seasonality of prehistoric occupation at the site, and the reasons for the long gaps in settlement.
