It will not teach you to cook.

You can find any recipe, tips, techniques or tricks that's in here on the internet or in books.

What's different about this is my personal perspective, knowledge and experience teaching new cooks the little things they should know, that no one else taught them.

This book aims to be a field manual to strategy and tactics in the kitchen. Which means that in the following pages I will take you through the process in much of the same way - and in the same sensitive, caring, respectful tone- as a new probie in my firehouse.
