Poor Ms. Karm

Set in Nineteenth Century England, Poor Ms. Karm is a tale about a "blind girl; two (twin) brothers; a skilled surgeon; and a curious foreign woman." The story commences when Madame Glinner is hired to look after Annabella Karm, who lost her sight as a young child.

While they are together, Annabella meets the love of her life. Her life takes another turn when she is told she can regain her sight through an operation. However, it may mean she will risk losing her new-found love. Through a series of fortunes and misfortunes, intrigue, deception, and noble sacrifice, Annabella Karm and Madame Glinner discover what truly matters.
