Encounter Christianity KS2

Encounter Christianity brings together strong visual images with a series of intriguing, open-ended questions that help develop children's spiritual awareness and encourage a creative response to the central themes of Christianity. In Encounter Christianity - In Words about Jesus children find out about Jesus as a person through the words that he spoke and words others said about him.

This book links to the 'big' book Encounter Christianity - To Change the World, and to two other small books, Encounter Christianity - In Questions about Jesus, and In Journeys about Jesus. Suitable for use by schools and Sunday schools for children aged 7-11, the series supports RE teaching at Key Stage 2 (with a natural progression from the Key Stage 1 series); includes teacher notes that provide background, practical ideas and Bible texts; and provides creative resources to support QCA Schemes of Work for RE.
