Jane Burdiak lives in Buckinghamshire and is married with four sons.

On completion of her fashion degree in 1972 she began working as a designer and in 1976 opened her own business, designing and making clothes to order.

Then, fifteen years later changed direction and became a teacher.

Since then Jane has been teaching textiles and food technology and enjoys the challenge of a demanding and stimulating environment.

She began writing two years ago and has recently completed her first book.
