Love and Paris with a side of murder!
If you like Nicholas Sparks, you'll LOVE Kirk Burris!

In 1960s Kansas City, career-minded Marion Kelly falls for one of her art students. Of course it's off limits, until an unplanned encounter in Paris four years later leads to a love affair with Jonathan, who is now twenty-two years old to her thirty-three. Facing her insecurities, Marion explores the road to happiness and takes a chance on love.
Agreeing to a Monte Carlo weekend followed by a yacht trip down the French Riviera is the most daring thing she's ever done. But a ghost from the past causes loyalties to be tested, and a murder threatens to separate the lovers forever.

Breaking Sandcastles highlights a half-century romance. Full of humor and heartache, laugh and cry as you steal glimpses into a life full of good times and bad, all the while being reminded that true love still exists.

An Amazon best-seller that will have you reaching for the tissue box and hugging those you hold most-dear!

Rated 4 out of 4 stars by Online Book Club.org!

This was such a sweet and tender love story. It was so easy to fall in love with both Jonathan and Marion, both as individuals and as a couple. They are both realistic and their love story is pure and one that many, I imagine, would love to experience. The storyline flowed so well and with ease, and the descriptions were perfectly written.
Within this story, there are two different storylines. There's the present and in the meantime, the past is delicately woven in. This technique of writing can be tricky to write and an easy way to confuse readers. However, I am happy to say that Burris does a beautiful job in presenting both timelines in a smooth and clear way.
What I also really liked about this book is the way it ended. Without spoilers, I found the ending to be fitting and it wonderfully tied the whole love tale beautifully.
