The Sexuality Debate in North American Churches, 1988-95 : Controversies, Unresolved Issues, Future Prospects

This text grew out of the author's four years of involvement as chair of the Presbyterian National Committee on Human Sexuality and two subsequent years of travelling and speaking to diverse audiences about these themes.

The book, however, indicates how various problems and issues of human sexuality have been impacting on virtually every major denomination, and seeks to interpret the Presbyterian debate in the context of the broader discussions in the Episcopal Church, The United Church of Canada, the United Methodist Church, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
