Dream snow

The story of a farmer who has just a few animals; he can count them on the fingers of one hand so calls them One, Two, Three, Four and Five.

He has just one small tree by his barn and calls it Tree.

The farmer looks after his animals well during theday and relaxes in the evening with peppermint tea and bread and honey.

One night he dreams that snow is covering his animals in white blankets and wakes to find real snow everywhere.

He checks to see that One, Two, Three, Four and Five are safely asleep in the warm barn.

Later he remembers that it's Christmas and goes out again, dressed just like Father Christmas, to deliver presents to the animals - and a big surprise as Tree lights up and music plays.
