Dawn came up that day in the town of Random on a bad note.

They found a respected local man dead, hanged by the neck from the tree in the livery corral. And things were about to get worse with the discovery of the victims of murderous slaughter and rape at a nearby homestead.

Were the two events linked? Was a bunch of crazed killers on the rampage; a lone gunman hell-bent on some personal retribution?
