Tours Through Common Ground : Introducing the Songs in the Local Church

The "Common Ground" songbook was the product of close ecumenical co-operation and is established across many branches of the church.

This volume, providing a map and compass to help local congregations find their own way around the book, introduces all the songs, with information on each.

Guidance is given on teaching the songs, including style, preferred accompaniment and the relative ease or difficulty of each.

Six "tours" are presented, each examining a facet of the book: a Scottish tour; a biblical tour; a grand world tour; a psalm tour; a popular tour; and a mystery tour.
