New Focus English for Nigerian Junior Secondary Schools - Book 1 : Teacher's Book

This is the first teacher's book in the "New Focus" selection of books designed for use in Nigerian junior secondary schools.

The books are designed to provide a complete course that follows the current National Curriculum and provides a total of 30 teaching weeks.

This book features the communicative use of language following the principles of active learning, conversation practice, integration of the major learning skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as coverage of aspects of grammar.

This selection of books is designed to bridge the gap between English language and literature teaching, using the format of accompanying student books and workbooks which provide extra exercises for use in the school or home.
