A & J Investigators : Book 2: LongFox Hall

It was a stormy day as Alex and Julia St. John left London and headed out to LongFox Hall in Sussex.
They were both excited and nervous to be investigating their very first official private detective case.
The old Gothic manor house looked dark and imposing in the heavy rain.
Bright flashes of lightning lit up the sky like fireworks, Banging and crashing thunder roared furiously.
Alex looked up at the eerie gargoyles staring down at them from the overpowering towers.
Julia had a feeling they were being watched! And was that a shadow in the window? or were their eyes playing tricks with them?
The wind whistled and howled like a wolf through the spooky grounds, Bending and twisting the ancient redwood pine trees.
With every cloud that discharged an electrical current, the old manor seemed to breathe deeply, like a dragon with smoking nostrils, but it was too late to turn back now.
Alex knocked on the solid oak front door, it creaked open on it's own daring the couple to enter!.
The old manor house had a good deal of owners over the years and today it is a private residential home.
But something sinister and strange is happening at LongFox Hall.
