Fr Michael Collins served as a priest in the diocese of Derry all of his adult life.

Through often turbulent and traumatic times his sense of humour kept him going and his empathy with the plight of the common person shone through. Life, Death, and the Bits in between is a collection of stories, spanning many decades, about life as a priest, the situations you find yourself in, and the scrapes you get out of by the skin of your teeth.

It also contains some of the funeral homilies that Michael delivered over the years for many of his friends and parishioners who in their own unique ways made the world a better place to live in for everyone who knew them.
