See all formats and editions

The aim is to provide teachers with a time saving approach that covers all elements of the Geography curriculum but requires little preparation.

The main feature of the teacher's notes is the differentiation element: teachers are given ideas for a main activity but also given a simplified activity for the less able and extension ideas for the more able.

Whole class Starting Points and useful Background Information is also provided.

One book per primary year is divided into themes. It matches the QCA scheme of work. It contains full lesson plans with background info and essential learning objectives.

Lesson plans include a main activity, simplified activity for 'special needs' pupils and extension for the more able and 'gifted and talented' pupils.

Pupil's work is supported by photocopies, fully referenced in the lesson plans.

Lessons are designed to support activity and group work.

A comprehensive approach, ideal for specialist and non-specialist teachers, supply teachers and can supplement all Geography materials.

It is inexpensive to resource the whole school.
