Plants on a Sill : Love

In Plants on a Sill: Love, a wilted, sickly monstera is in need of help. Everyone else has passed by looking in the other direction. Until a new cactus, named Callie, joins the windowsill.

"I looked too wilted to be helped. Everyone has been so busy; they didn't want to stop what they were doing to lift me up...," said Manny.

 "I was broken once too; I know the feeling," said Callie.

Meet the plants that live on the windowsill. These six friends are rooted in truth and bloom in understanding. Each plant has its own personality that shines as they learn and grow together. In Plants on a sill, each book of the series will explore a fruit of the Spirit. Book one explains biblical love. Callie explores what love should look like and how we are to apply it. When an ill plant needs help, Callie rushes to his side and helps in any way she can. She cares for the sickly Monstera and shows him what Christ loving friendship looks like. Callie's acts of love are loosely based off of the good Samaritan found in Luke 10:30-37. Children can follow along easily with this story of plant friends as they explore all nine fruits of the Spirit. At the end of each book, there is an opportunity to dig deeper into Scripture as it explains what it means to live out the fruits in our lives.
