Fundamentals of Nursing - Promoting Hygiene: Video

As part of the series "Lippincott's Clinical Skills" this video introduces the basic concepts, theory and skills of nursing to the student.

Nursing procedures from a variety of clinical settings are presented along with the perspectives of the client.

Instruction is offered on hair care, shampooing the patient's hair, shaving the patient, and providing nail and oral care. Oral care also includes denture care and oral care for the unconscious client.

Current infection prevention standards are included throughout the video.
