Four legs and a halo

My name is Angel and I am a chocolate Labrador. I am ten months old, and I've just had a close encounter with Death. Angel's life starts with when, at just eight weeks old, she is sold out of the trunk of a car, away from her mother and four siblings.

Soon, she is welcomed into the fold of a new family, with humans Mom, her children, grandchildren, and many others, who take care of her and love her even as she pulls all of them into her world of doggy shenanigans. And she loves them right back. When she's older, and Diane brings home a beautiful puppy called Saskia, Angel is overjoyed.

She has always wanted to be a mother and sets about teaching Saskia all that she knows. Punctuated by colorful, beautifully detailed cartoons, Four Legs and a Halo brings joyful life to all the hilarity and heartbreak that comes from loving a pet--from housetraining to vet visits, playtime to laundry theft, and from wild sausage chases to saying goodbye.
