In 1959 I read an article about cadets from West Point stealing Navy's mascot. The NAVY goat. I thought that that was cool. I use to think of many ways to steal the goat and not get caught. This is when I started to write the book. In 1992, I read another article about Army cadets trying to steal the Navy goat again. About at the same time I read an unrelated article about the COMMANDER IN CHIEF's Trophy. I read more about it and I said to myself that it would be great if the trophy could be stolen. I wrote more notes in the book.
As I followed Desert Storm I was intrigued by the air war, especially "Operation Normandy". I wrote some notes.
THEN CAME COVID.
With everything coming to a halt, I started adding more to my notes.
Finally in 2021 I went crazy writing hour after hour, day after day.

All of a sudden I had a book. I wondered if anyone else would enjoy reading it.
So, here it is.
