Wolf Vosetell : The Disasters of Peace

This exhibition catalogue presents over 50 works of art that are representative of Wolf Vostell's artistic commitment in the social and political sphere.

The selection of works is taken from the late 1950s to the mid-1990s, the entire period of his artistic production.

Of particular significance is a work entitled "6 TV - de-coll/age" (1963); it was the first video installation shown in the US in which Vostell predicted the negative effects of television.

An interview between the artist and his wife complements this catalogue.
