It is our individual experiences that colour our lives, that inspire us to create and share with the world. They define who we are, distinguish us from the others. But for all the colours that there are in the world, maybe things aren't so different in black and white.

From the most brilliant of white, to the inkiest noir, monochromatic is a collection of poetry written to uncover some of the shades that have defined Marie Desires' life and work while exploring themes of family, mental health, love and loss.
