Lyme Regis grew up as a medieval port, and re-invented itself as a seaside resort in the mid-eighteenth century.

This book uses image picture collection at Lyme Regis Museum to illustrate the dramatic changes in the town and also the continuities.

The illustrations are accompanied by Jo Draper's commentary.
