El Teatro y el Anfiteatro de Augusta Emerita : Contribucion al conocimiento historico de la capital de Lusitania

This revised thesis aims to add to our knowledge of Hispano-Roman architecture in the Lusitanian capital of Augusta Emerita through an exploration of its theatre and amphitheatre.

The author looks in detail at the construction methods employed, the building fabric, construction phases, appearance and dating of each site, revealing a complex picture of original building works and structural change.
