The truth is the truth, and a lie is simply a lie.  A lie is not a misstatement of fact. It is merely a lie, and it seems like a lot of people don’t seem to be able to tell the truth.  And that is a very sad thing.  Maybe they are just afraid to tell the truth.  Maybe they don’t know the difference between the truth and a lie.  But since the truth never changes, you never have to remember what you said yesterday about something; because if you are telling the truth, the truth will remain exactly the same today as it was yesterday! And besides, sometimes you make people feel sad if you lie to them, because it means they can’t trust you; and maybe it also means you don’t trust them!
