It was the lifelong experiences of the author, Penelope Dyan, and her great desire to do good in this world, along with her love for nature's creatures, the law, and her deep concern for others, that led to the creation of this book, 'The Runaway Horses", her fifth book about Griffin Farm, loosely (and fictionally) based on the real animals and the people of Gryphon Brook Equestrian Center and Farm!
