Sixteen-year-old Kiara Noir doesn't really know who she is and now wants answers. Living on a secluded Colorado reservation, running a farm stand, and partaking in her mother's crazy rituals, she wants more out of life.

On the morning of Kiara's half birthday, another insane ritual her mother Willow celebrates, Willow tries to compromise and see Kiara's point of view granting her some freedom by giving her the morning off from chores. Life was going just as it should until an unease washes over Kiara's happy place and her phone blows up with a text from her mother to get home now.
