Programming in F

F is a new programming language derived from Fortran 90 - the most recently standardized version of the world's oldest and most widely used scientific programming language.

Every F program is also a Fortran 90 program, and F is, therefore, an ideal language to learn both in its own right and if you expect to use Fortran in the future.

Programming in F is primarily intended for college students who are learning how to program in F (or in Fortran 90) and is a natural successor to the authors' earlier book about Fortran 90 programming.

In particular, it is written in such a way as to encourage readers to fully utilize the power and flexibility of F from the outset.
