Stone by Stone examines the practices of hunter-gatherers.

From the imaginative acts of drawing on cave walls and sculpting wood and limestone, the worlds first artists imbued their works with the quest for survival, suggesting that through the physical manifestation of the art object, life would follow suit.

More than a record of events, these works looked ahead to shape a future marked by uncertainty.

Following this tradition, Taj Forers photographs depict practices of contemporary bushcraft survival skills to re-imagine the future.
