Ten steps to improve your child's adding and subtracting: Age 7-8

This activity book identifies ten steps to improve the adding and subtracting of children aged seven to eight years old.

It aims to help parents to improve children's achievements at school, which is important for Key Stage 1 SATs.

It builds on children's school learning and provides home-school links.

The book also has a central pull-out and merit stickers to help make learning fun.The ten steps include: using "+" and "-" signs; one more, ten more; making a total of ten; subtracting within ten; making totals up to 20; subtracting within 20; adding the "teens" numbers; subtracting within 50; adding and subtracting up to 100; and solving problems using addition and subtraction.
