The Three Musketeers

George Sidney directs this 1940s adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' classic novel.

In 17th-century France, Musketeers Athos, Porthos and Aramis (Van Heflin, Gig Young and Robert Coote) are in the service of King Louis XIII (Frank Morgan) when young d'Artagnan (Gene Kelly) arrives in the capital, creating a stir by single-handedly defeating two soldiers in a magnificent swordfight.

Meanwhile, Richelieu (Vincent Price) plots undermine the King by exposing the misdeeds of Queen Anne (Angela Lansbury), but d'Artagnan and the Musketeers come to the rescue.
