Overworked taxi driver John (Jack Reynor) struggles to help his mother (Collette) overcome her alcohol addiction whilst trying to earn enough for them both.

As she succumbs to her illness and becomes increasingly violent to her son, he is faced with some difficult decisions about how best to help his mother.

John insists she enter a rehabilitation facility despite their precarious financial situation, but what lengths will he go to to repair the broken family that he barely holds together?
