Open Your Ears - Gerd Albrecht Conducts and Explores

Collection of analytical concerts led by conductor Gerd Albrecht.

Believing that people should understand the music that they are hearing, Albrecht joined forces with Sender Freies Berlin and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin to host educational concerts where the audience could listen to the music while being led through it by the composer.

In this collection, Albrecht focuses on pieces by Krzysztof Penderecki, Hans Werner Henze, György Ligeti, Mauricio Kagel, Isang Yun and Jörg Widmann.
