Cellular Generation, Transport and Effects of Eicosanoids : Biological Roles and Pharmacological Intervention

This work presents new findings on the eicosanoids: their mechanisms and specificity of action; model systems allowing for quantitative analyses of their activities; their involvement in host defence and disease, specifically in asthma, allergic diseases and inflammation; and drugs capable of selectively inhibiting their generation and activities.
