Level 1 assumes students have studied English at primary school, but gives full coverage of all basic language areas.

Each unit concludes with an Extra Reading page which explores life and culture in English-speaking countries. Content throughout the course is sensitive to the requirements of the region with material specially written and adapted for learners in the Arab World.
