The Magic of Acting : An Introductory Primer to 'Being-ness'

t is my contention that we each have within us the unlimited potential that can be tapped into at any time. All we need to do is to get out of our own way and access that special place within us - our own unique magical self.

As actors we can all become the actor we want to be, if only we put this aspect of ourselves in the driving seat.

Most of the methodologies or systems were developed by actors who for reason or another could not access their own authentic abilities. I believe this is preset within us. In this little I will reveal:

• What is meant by the 'Magic of Acting'
• Why the methodologies and systems are clinical and don't work without our own original 'Magic'
• How we can access this special place inside us
• Why there is no such this as the 'Character'
• How to develop a sense of place & understand where we are right now at both inside and outside

In the second part of the book we will look at how to operate within the industry. Basic advice to the new actor and those returning after a short break.

This is not just another 'how to' manual. It is about 'How to BE'
