This publication contains the fifth general review of Parliamentary constituencies, covering the whole of Wales and the first general review of Welsh Assembly electoral regions.

The proposed number of Parliamentary constituencies (and therefore Assembly constituencies) remains at 40, with significant changes to parts of Clywd and Gwynedd preserved county areas proposed, with the creation of three new constituencies (Aberconwy, Arfon and Dwyfor Meirionnydd) in place of existing constituencies.

Changes are also proposed for a number of constituencies as detailed, with no changes proposed for 17 others.

Recommended electorates range from 68,229 (the Vale of Glamorgan) to 42,998 (Arfon CC).
