18th report of the Standing Advisory Commission on Human Rights : report for 1992-93, 1 April 1992 - 31 March 1993

This Annual Report covers the period April 1992-March 1993, a period during which the Commission has been particularly involved with the debate about the protection of rights and freedoms in Northern Ireland and the renewed interest in a Bill of Rights.

The Commission has also continued to promote greater public awareness and understanding of a wide range of human rights issues, has taken steps towards involvement in the presentation of human rights awareness material within the school curriculum, and has launched a new wide ranging study on disability.
